The journey to helping a child this Christmas begins here.
We are partnering with Operation Christmas Child once again to provide shoeboxes filled with; small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
COLLECTION DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 19TH
Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately.
Decide whether you will pack a box for a girl or a boy, and the age category: 2–4, 5–9, or 10–14.
Select a medium to large “wow” item such as a soccer ball with pump or stuffed animal, then fill with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies.
Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift. You can also include a personal note and photo.
This July we will be taking a team back to the Cayo village of Belize.
God has truly laid it upon our hearts to be actively engaged in missions; helping in-need families and communities across the globe while sharing the gospel and helping people discover greater meaning, purpose and opportunity for their lives.
Belize is one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere with thousands of needy children and families living in desperate poverty. We will be traveling there on July 9th-16th and are expecting to serve approximately 200 kids under the age of 13.
Along with providing meals, activities and mentoring; we will provide each child with a Care Package.
[Registration will be available in January]
