Reconnect.  Rebuild.  Reignite.

REIGNITE is a 90-day strategy to rebuild connection, ownership, discipleship, and spiritual fire in Infusion Students. As school ends, graduations happen, and schedules shift, we are making this season intentional — believing these next three months will become one of the most transformational seasons in our student ministry’s history.

“I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you…” — 2 Timothy 1:6

Student Outreach

Re-Engage

Before building a strong summer, every student must be personally contacted, checked on, and invited. Target: every student ages 11–19 connected to PLC — not just those who filled out a form.

📌
How to Read These Categories

Every student belongs in one of these five categories. Know where yours are before deciding how to reach out. The approach is different for each.

01
Core Students
Regular attenders ready for real responsibility.
→ Give them ownership
02
Semi-Engaged
Attend occasionally but lack consistent rhythm.
→ Invite into crews + Bible study
03
Disconnected
Absent a month or more. Relationship before invitation.
→ Check-in — no guilt, no pressure
04
New / Quiet
Present but not fully connected.
→ Assign buddy, crew, or check-in
05
Alumni / College
Graduated — available for mentorship and service.
→ Fire Night, panels, Bible study

Sample Outreach Messages

"Hey, we've been thinking about you. REIGNITE is happening now and we really want you to be part of it — not just because there are events, but because you matter here."
"Draft Night already happened and you have a crew waiting for you. We don't want you floating this summer. Let's get you connected."
"Just checking on you. You're seen and missed."
📋
Master Contact List

The full student roster (ages 11–19) should be maintained in a shared Google Sheet — not in this dashboard. Use this section as a strategic framework for knowing how to reach each student.

Empowerment Model

Student Ownership & The Crew System

Principle

Every role needs a leader coach, clear task, start and finish time, standard of excellence, and a debrief. Real roles, not pretend assignments. Responsibility creates investment.

Family Partnership

Parent Engagement Strategy

Parents are discipleship partners, not just transportation providers. Clear, consistent, specific communication gives them what they need to support their student — and keeps them invested in what we’re building.

📌
Why This Matters

If we want to touch every aspect of a student’s life, we communicate clearly with the adults who are with them the other six days of the week. Parent engagement is a discipleship multiplier.

📢 Weekly Parent Update — 6 Elements

Every parent communication should include these six elements. Short, clear, actionable — not a newsletter.

📢
What Happened
2–3 sentences on last week’s event. Specific and encouraging — not generic.
📅
What’s Coming
Next event name, date, time, cost. Any logistics parents need now.
🌿
Spiritual Emphasis
One sentence on what we’re focusing on spiritually. Lets parents reinforce it at home.
💬
Conversation Starter
One specific question they can ask their student this week.
🚗
How to Help
One concrete way to support their student — attend, encourage, or transport.
🙏
Prayer Focus
A brief, specific prayer for their student and the ministry this week.

💬 Monthly Conversation Starters

May:"Who’s in your crew and what do you like about them?"
June:"What happened at Fire Night? What did you feel?"
July:"What’s one thing this summer that surprised you?"
Aug:"What are you carrying into the school year from this summer?"

🤝 Parent Involvement Opportunities

🚗
Transportation
Coordinate rides to FNL events.
🍕
Snacks & Supplies
Provide snacks for FNL, BBQ, and Fields & Fire.
🙏
Prayer Support
Pray for the ministry by name each week.
🎉
Event Support
Help set up or break down for BBQ, Carnival, Awards Dinner.
📢
Encouragement
Verbally encourage your student to attend and invite friends.
🎓
Awards Dinner (6/14)
Attend to celebrate what God is doing in your student.
🏫
Back2School Sunday (8/30)
Bring your student and stay for the Open House.

📅 Month-by-Month Parent Focus

MonthMessage
MayLaunch REIGNITE — introduce vision, crews, The Source. Set summer expectations.
JuneMid-season check-in. Fire Night highlights. Invite to Youth Takeover Sunday + Awards Dinner (6/14).

Engage college students and alumni for Fire Night (6/19), Bible study support, and student panels. Their presence shows current students that a pathway of faith beyond high school is real and possible.

Leadership Architecture

Youth Advisory Team

The Youth Advisory Team is the strategic layer of the Infusion leadership structure — core leads who exist to support, advise, and provide resources so the people who run events have what they need to do it well and sustainably.

The Architecture Principle

Every sustainable ministry has more than one layer. The advisory layer exists so the operational team can lead from a position of strength — resourced, accountable, and connected to wisdom beyond the room.

Strategic Layer
Youth Advisory Team
Resources · Counsel · Advocacy · Accountability
supports & enables
Operational Layer
Student Ministry Core Team

Community
Infusion Students
Ages 11–19 · Three Crews · Connected, Known, and Growing

Why This Layer Matters

🔑
Strategic Resources
Advisors bring access to things the ministry can't generate alone — funding, venues, expertise, and connections.
💡
Outside Perspective
Because advisors aren't in the weekly grind, they see the ministry with fresh eyes and ask hard questions early.
👤
Accountability & Wisdom
A trusted group the youth leadership can think out loud with and receive honest feedback from.
🏛️
Ministry Credibility
Advisory support signals to the church, parents, and community that this ministry is structured and well-supported.

Who Should Be on This Team

Committed to the vision of Infusion Student Ministries
Brings a specific skill, network, or resource
Available for monthly or quarterly check-ins (Zoom is fine)
Willing to advocate within their sphere of influence
Not required to attend every event — this is strategic, not operational
💬
How to Invite

Start with a personal conversation. Share the vision, explain the advisory layer, and ask specifically what they would bring. The best advisors are invited, not mass-emailed.

Advisory Role Descriptions

RoleWhat This Advisor Brings

The Next 90 Days Matter.

REIGNITE is a commitment to shepherd students with intentionality during one of the most important transition windows of the year.

Students who have drifted can reconnect. Students who have been quiet can find their voice. Students who have only attended can begin to serve. Students who feel anonymous can find their crew. Students who are graduating can remain spiritually anchored.

We are using this summer to rebuild culture, strengthen discipleship, activate ownership, engage families, and infuse students with faith, identity, and purpose.

Let’s lead like they matter. ∞
